Welcome to SEND Insight
Hello! I am the Founder of SEND Insight. I have created this space to support parents and carers and individuals navigating Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) systems and the EHCP Process.
SEND Insight aims to bridge the gap between complex systems and real-life understanding. I believe every family deserves clarity, support and respectful and honest guidance.
My aim is to provide clear, supportive information that helps you to feel more confident and informed in your SEND journey. I have 8 years of experience working in SEND. I have worked in primary and secondary mainstream schools, Alternative Provisions and special schools.
I have a BSc and MSc psychology degree. I am aiming to complete the Child and Education Psychology doctorate to become a child psychologist! I have experience supporting children and young people with Autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia, cerebral palsy, MD, EBSA, SEMH needs, medical and physical disabilities.
I currently support parents going through the EHCP process. I apply for EHCPs for students and I work closely with parents to navigate the complex system. Please reach out to SEND Insight if you need any advice, support or guidance navigating the EHCP or SEND systems. We are here to support you every step of the way!
Our Mission:
At SEND Insight our mission is to support parents and caters through the EHCP process with clarity, confidence and practical guidance. I aim to make a complex system easier to understand so families feel better equipped to advocate for their child’s needs.
Our Ethos:
SEND Insight is built on the belief that every child deserves the right support, and every parent and cared deserves clear, accessible information to help get there. I work alongside families to reduce confusion, build confidence, and provide calm, practical guidance at every stage of the EHCP process.
Our Values:
Clarity -Breaking down complex SEND processes, into simple, actionable step.
Empowerment - Helping parents feel confident to advocate for their child.
Compassion -Proving supportive, non-judgmental guidance.
Practical support - Focusing on real, usable steps that help move things forward.
How I work:
I provide SEND guidance and coaching to support parents through EHCP applications, reviews and related processes.
I do not provide legal advice but instead help families understand the process and strengthen their applications using current SEND guidance and best practice.
