The consultation is a short call to understand your situation, your child’s needs and what stage of the EHCP process you are at. I will explain how I may be able to support you and suggest next steps.

No. I do not provide legal advice or act as a legal representative.
I offer SEND guidance, coaching, and EHCP application support to help parents understand the process, organise evidence, and strengthen their applications. My support is based on publicly available SEND guidance and best practice, including the SEND Code of Practice.
If you need formal legal advice or representation, I may suggest speaking with a qualified solicitor or specialist legal service.

You can request an EHCP needs assessment by contacting your local authority’s SEN team in writing, explaining your child’s needs and including any supporting evidence.

Yes. A formal diagnosis is not required to begin the EHCP process. Support can still be based on your child’s needs and the impact those difficulties are having on their learning and daily life.

You will receive a clear, practical guidance tailored to your situation. This may include written feedback, next step recommendations, and structured advice to help you move forward with your application or review.

Yes. Support is available to help you understand the decision, consider next steps and explore options such as requesting a review or appealing through mediation or tribunal routes.

The EHCP process can take up to 20 weeks from the point an assessment is agreed. Timelines may vary depending on the local authority and the complexity of your child’s needs.

Yes. Support is available for children and young people across all education stages, including early years, primary and secondary.
